VISIONS (AND OTHER HAIKUS)

Visions

I wish I could see

The world through your bright eyes.

‘Cause mine are all dark.

Actually Insane

They call me crazy

But I call it enlightened.

Doo-pa doo-pa doop.

City on a Hill

Like a beacon, there

Shines the American light.

Charming, or blinding?

Reading

Sink into your seat

And let the pages take you

To your Iron Throne.

Original

In a time of firsts,

Doesn’t it feel sublime

To know you’re the last?
